Description

A 9-day trip to South Korea that includes international flights, transfers, KTX train tickets, and accommodation in first-class hotels with breakfast. The itinerary covers Seoul, Busan, and an excursion to Gyeongju, blending culture, history, and scenic landscapes.

In Seoul, you’ll visit iconic sites such as the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), royal palaces, traditional villages, markets, and the N Seoul Tower. In Busan, you’ll explore Gamcheon Culture Village, Diamond Bridge, Haeundae Beach, and Dongbaek Island. In Gyeongju, you’ll discover historical landmarks like Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO), Cheomseongdae Observatory, and Anapji Pond.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone on the border with North Korea). We will visit the following points of interest:

  • Imjingak Park: Located on the banks of the Imjin River, near the old Gyeongui railway line, in Paju, South Korea. Built in 1972 to console those separated by the division of Korea.
  • Freedom Bridge: Former railway bridge used by repatriated prisoners of war and soldiers returning from the North.
  • Third Infiltration Tunnel: One of four tunnels under the border, extending south of Panmunjom. Visitors can access it via a steep slope or a small train.
  • DMZ Exhibition Hall and Theater: Features videos and exhibits explaining the tunnels and Korea’s division.
  • Dora Observatory: Located on Mount Dora, offering panoramic views of North Korea.
  • Dorasan Station: The northernmost station on South Korea’s Gyeongui Line, inaugurated in 2002 as a tourist attraction.
  • Unification Village: A preserved natural area within the DMZ, known for rice, soybeans, and ginseng.
  • Important: Arrive early to the DMZ area to get tickets (possibly at 06:00, depending on local conditions). Bring your passport to enter the DMZ.
  • Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

  • Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae): Former presidential residence and office, now a public park.
  • Royal Guard Changing Ceremony: Recreation of the Joseon Dynasty guard change.

  • National Folk Museum: Located within Gyeongbokgung Palace grounds.
  • Insadong Antique Street: Famous for art galleries, tea houses, and craft shops.
  • Bukchon Hanok Village: Traditional Korean village with preserved hanok houses.
  • N Seoul Tower: Communication and observation tower on Namsan Mountain.
  • Myeongdong Street: Popular shopping district known for beauty products and fashion.
  • Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

  • Gamcheon Culture Village: Known for colorful houses and maze-like alleys.

  • Haeundae Beach: Busan’s most famous beach, ideal for swimming.
  • Dongbaek Island & Nurimaru APEC House: Scenic island and international conference hall.
