Teton Village, 12 scenic miles northwest of Jackson, is home to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the largest and most popular ski area in Wyoming. It’s easy to find—just “head for the hills” toward the east slope of the Teton Range. From Jackson, take WY-22 for about 5 miles to the junction with WY-390, then turn onto WY-390 and continue another 6 miles; Teton Village will be clearly visible on your left. Located at the base of the mountain, Swiss-style Teton Village—often called “the Vil”—has everything needed for a great Wyoming mountain vacation: espresso stands, restaurants, après-ski bars, live music, gift shops, storage lockers, and ski and snowboard shops. Visitors will find a wide range of lodging options and convenient services, including a post office, bank, small grocery store, child care, and gear rentals.
